## The question

Make highly technical documentation searchable for one department, with the exact place in the source attached to every answer, so users can check it before they build on it.

## Our approach

Built iteratively with a test group of about ten people, until the answers reached production quality. Then released to the expert users in the production environment, and only after that step scaled up to the whole department.

## Impact delivered

Results, before → now:

- Users: about 100 at rollout → 1,000 to 1,500

Around 98 percent effective. After the release to expert users, scaled up to the department's full target group.
